Wow! It's been a real long time since we last checked in. Part of it was general laziness on my part and also there was a lack of anything interesting to update. That has all changed. April 1st marks the release of "48 minutes, 07 seconds, then the open air", the new full length album from We're From Japan!. The album was recorded in Jan/Feb of this year and features 7 songs both old and new, brand-spankin' new. We've enlisted the piano playing chops of Andi Camp once again AND added strings. Here's a track list if you are interested:

The album will be available this week at Jackpot Records and the 1st of April everywhere else.
In honor of the new album we will be setting off on tour in support of it on Thurs. March 17th. The tour will bring us all over California, Arizona, New Mexico and elsewhere. Be sure to check the shows page for details.
And if that's not enough, we will have a limited edition remix ep available at all shows. It consists of approx 40 min. of new/remixed WFJ! material. If there are any left after the tour we will be selling them through the website so go ahead and get in touch if interested.
