yeah, it's kinda last minute but hey, we just found out ourselves. tomorrow night (tues), we'll be playing at berbati's with an amazing band from the uk called hope of the states. their record isn't out in our part of the world for a couple more weeks but I've heard it and would easily place it among my top ten for 2004. if I had to draw any comparisons I'd say they may sorta sound like godspeed you black emperor meets spiritualized. cost for that one is $10 bucks but shit, their from the uk, gotta forgive 'em.

then on thurs night we'll be playing at nocturnal with our good friends desert city soundtrack and the rum diary. the same lineup played a show last year and it was wild. this one may quite likely turn ugly. not something you'd want to miss. be sure to check out www.werefromjapan.com for details on these shows and other updates.
